> Do you know the 2nd leading cause of lung cancer?

This January, Community Health Charities is partnering with the American Lung Association to raise awareness about radon during Radon Action Month.

Most people already know that smoking is the leading cause of lung cancer. In fact, smoking is still the most preventable cause of disease and death. But what you may not know is that exposure to radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer.

In 2002, when she was just 10 years old, MacKinzie became the Children’s Heart Foundation’s National Spokesperson. “Mac,” as she is known to her family and friends, was born with a complex congenital heart defect, Single Ventricle.
